Dear Dr Heartache.....I Need Help....

I have recently learned that a dear trusted friend has betrayed me in such a fashion as I am at a loss what to do.

Here is what happened.

I loaned this person $1000 and he said he would pay me back as soon as he received his Bush stimulus check.

Well, guess what? he received it and spent it all on himself and did not pay me.

I am so mad I could chew nails. I asked him why he didn't pay me when he said he would. His dumb answer was that he had to pay his bills first.

I told him that I am also one of his creditors. He said he didn't see it that way, but he saw me as a friend who would surely understand.

What shall I do? I am very very angry!

You know as well as I do the first step is to forgive.

After you forgive forget it and move on.

If he has any conscience he will pay you your thousand dollars.

You can't force anyone to do the right thing, but you can make yourself do the right thing.

You also can take him to small claims court.

Make sure you prepare a case that cannot lose or there is no point in going to court.

Take the written proof of the loan and if you don't have it..........

forget it.

Dear Dr Heartache.....I Need Help...

My two best friends Tanny and Lane invited me to a vacation in Cancun. I said yes I would go. Lucky for me I had enough days vacation time to spend a glorious week there soaking up the sun and maybe meeting the love of my life. Lane and I didn't, but Tanny met someone.

We landed safely and started sightseeing immediately. Of course after we rested and freshened up.

Believe it or not Tanny met a guy named Abdul and they hit it off immediately.

Lane and I are concerned for her. Abdul is a nice guy, but he wears a white turban and bears a striking resemblance to Osama bin Laden. We could tell right away he is not her type.

Needless to say he flew back with us after we vouched for him to the airline.

Of course, it did take him three days to be cleared.

They're talking of marriage.

Should we be concerned?

Hm mm....this sounds suspicious and dangerous.

Tell your friend Tanny that she is placing her life on the line if she continues to see lookalike Osama.

Is he tall like Osama? Is he thin like Osama?

Doe he read the Koran? Does he read the Hadeeth?

Doesn't your friend Tanny know that her friend Abdul is undoubtedly a Muslim which would see her as his servant and not his equal?

Here is my advice to you..........

Tell Tanny that according to history...USA divorce records....church records....word of mouth......documented testimonies....written and signed affidavits........and the Holy Bible....

the odds of her and Abdul succeeding together is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 to 1.

Dear Dr Heartache.....I Need Help....

I started working for this company that takes incoming calls for products offered on commercials. You know all those....."Call 1 800...."?

Anyway the man who sits in the booth next to mine is a troublemaker. One man called in to place an order on his credit card. The man got angry at him for whatever reason, so he had his order sent to the other side of the country instead of the address he gave him.

Should I report him? Should I tell him he needs to make this right or I will report him? He is a big burly guy who strikes me as one who might seek vengeance.

I don't want to jeopardize my job since he might call me a liar or worse beat me up.
