What Shall I Do?

Dear Dr Heartache, My husband Mark and I decided to take a weekend vacation to Cancun. We wanted to be alone far away from the crowds for a time
since we are so deliriously in love with each other. Once we got there, we plunged into having a great time.
It was akin to heaven being with him there as anywhere.
We held hands as we walked along the seashore. The sky was clear and blue. The clouds were drifting by. I was swooning just to be near him. I cannot describe in words how absolutely loved he makes me feel. I adore him.
As we walked along blissfully oblivious to anything but each other, I noticed something I had never noticed before.
Dr Heartache, since we married one year ago my life has been filled with complete ecstasy. Mark is every woman's dream;strong, dependable, attractive, intelligent, kind, compassionate, loving...anyway he is wonderful beyond description. Everything about him makes my heart beat madly..
I had never noticed before that every time we talk, it has always been me to start the conversation. Why is he this way? I want him to talk to me, to listen to me. Am I being unreasonable? Why doesn't he really listen to me?
Hurt and Confused in New Hampshire

Dear Hurt and Confused in New Hampshire,
I have no idea.
I do advise you to buy a book which addresses this;
The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.
(wait that might not be the book. I'll have to check and get back to you)
But maybe Mark is just a quiet type guy.
I am shocked that you would even consider this a problem.
Stop your whining and accept him for who he is and the way he is.
You really have no problem as long as he loves you.
Look on the bright side of this. He is there and you and he are deeply in
love. I really see no problem.
Hope this helped....

At Last My Computer is Fixed!!!

My dear Dr Heartache, my computer burned and went out. I think it needed a new power drive. I have no idea. Someone did the work for a fair price. So I'm back on high speed so I can blog and blog and blog and blog....anyway other things happened too that made my life very sad. But you know how God is....faithful and true. I'm better now. I go to You tube and listen to music.
I go to read blogs around the web...I have been more or less in seclusion for awhile only visiting and talking with my friends at Yahoo Answers and the big big Christian message board.
Anyway........
I have a unique problem. I was shopping one day at the mall. I was looking for a new purse and sunglasses. I was trying on sunglasses when I looked up and saw this man staring at me. He was staring I tell you. I felt it. But it was a good feeling I felt. I looked and there he stood. He smiled so I smiled back because he was so incredibly attractive. I was also attracted. He didn't know it but I almost died.
He began to walk toward me never taking his eyes off of me. I acted like I didn't notice. I kept trying on sunglasses. Suddenly he was next to me. I didn't say anything then he said.."Hello. Excuse me...but do you work here?" Can you imagine asking me such an obvious hello I would like to get to know you question? I felt my heart skip a beat but managed to appear calm..
I answered.. that I did not work there so why would I be carrying a purse if I was working? Hello? He smiled again and said.."Okay. I think you're beautiful. Will you go out with me?"
I fainted right into his arms. When I came to he said.."I take it the answer is yes?"
We've been seeing each other for 2 months now. We are deliriously happy and madly in love. Here is the problem. He is a believer in Taoism. Should I be concerned?

I'm Desperately In Love Again!

Dear Dr Heartache.....Please help me with this....
He is so perfect! So good looking. He is so totally in command! I'm desperately, madly, completely, utterly, dizzingly, incomprehensibly, astonishingly deeply and forever hopelessly in love with every woman's dream. He is so attractive. He is so sure of himself. I am so impressed with his resume. God left nothing to chance when he created him. I live only to think of him. I breathe for him. Every tick tock of my wildly beating heart beats only for him.
I dream of the day when he will hold me close in his loving arms and tells me that he is mine forever more.
Oh Dr Heartache, what shall I do? It seems he doesn't even know I exist. How could I love someone so madly and crazily and still be alive? Shall I forget it or keep hoping he calls. He said he would, but it has been two weeks and nothing. I'm on the verge of collapse from longing and yearning.
Waiting for Romeo in Wyoming

Hmm...it sounds serious. But wait, I have good news.
It is the age old feeling. That thing that causes one to act like the world is filled with only two people...you and him. All I can tell you is if he doesn't call by tonight, let it go and forget it. Men are easily forgotten. Remember he is just a man.
If this doesn't help, then see a therapist immediately.

Dr Heartache I Need Help Now!

Dear Dr Heartache.....I Need Help....
This is a familiar problem, dear Dr Heartache. I'm in love again. He is so handsome, so manly, so dashing and daring. He is everything a woman could want in a man.
When I think of him, I get warm all over. I think of him day and night, night and day. It had to be him.
My knees knock together whenever he is near. I wonder if he could hear my heart beating wildly within.
My thoughts are only of him. When I walk through my garden I see his face. When I close my eyes at night I hear his voice. Do you think this is normal to be so in love with a man I haven't even formally met?
Dr Heartache, he is a co-worker of mine. He was just transferred to my town. I swoon when he passes by.
What shall I do? Surely this can't be one-sided. How could I be so attracted and he not be attracted also to me?
Lovesick in sunny California

Dear Lovesick in sunny California,
Hmm...sounds like you got it bad. Believe me he knows.
Love is fair, it always tells the other.
You know as the sages say..if love has struck in one heart, it has struck in the other heart too. So sit tight and love will work this out to its advantage.
Hope this helped...

Ex- Christians

Dear Dr Heartache, I just returned from a week of web surfing adventure. I looked for sites where ex-Christians lament their great sorrows in breaking free from Christianity.

I found many sites. I lurked and took in all they are doing to destroy themselves. Of course they think they are destroying Christianity.
Of course they don't see it as destructive, but as they getting "well" from being brainwashed into believing a lie. Many were ministers so they say. Who can say if one is lying or telling the truth among these heretics. Anyway some claim they were preaching the gospel for millenniums, but finally realized they were living a lie. Now at last, they say, they are free.
They comfort each other with advice, like for example to see their local shrink to help them recover.
Their content is...."I was a minister for hundreds of years, preaching the gospel, giving to the poor, winning the lost.
But I begin to find discrepancies in the Bible, and I found I could no longer live a lie. My life is bent out of shape from years of listening to preaching and singing. Please help me find my way back."
Then an ex-Christian who is recovering also tells them to "hang in there" or "I know where you're coming from." or "I was there." or "Believe in yourself." and one even advised one ex-Christian to see a lawyer, perhaps divorce the Christian spouse who may not understand why the ex-Christian needed to be free, to be intelligently and scientifically free from religious nonsense.
The ex-Christian said he is coming out of the closet to reveal he is now free from the God delusion.
Dr Heartache, what should I make of all this?
Wondering in Detroit, Michigan
Dear Wondering in Michigan......,
Poppycock!, it isn't that they are ex-Christians, it is that they are soldiers who could not take the boot camp God has. They are basically deserters.
AWOL. Traitors. Weaklings.
I know that in the Army, many hundreds of men go to training to be soldiers, but many give up, cannot take the discipline it requires to finish the race.
These ex- Christians you saw all over the Internet who are crying on each others shoulders how they couldn't take it anymore are simply not fit for the Kingdom of God.

Jesus said if you put your hand to the plow and look back, you are not fit for his Kingdom. These people looked back, even as did Lot's wife and have become pillars of salt. Unmovable, shall forever be etched in history as disobedient erring children who have gone the way of Balaam.
It is easy to understand. They just couldn't cut it, but blame God and other Christians for the own failure to measure up.
The Christian standard is too high for them to attain, so they gave up and call it freedom. The only ones they have fooled are themselves and others like the. As a Christian myself, I see clearly what happened to these deserters.
Jesus said the way is straight and narrow and few will find it,
so obviously these deserters could never find the straight and narrow that leads to life eternal.
They call themselves ex-Christians, but in reality, the seed sown to them was sown by the wayside, the seed was sown on hard ground.
Jesus told these would come, that they would fall by the way. In the great classic book Pilgrim's Progress the name for these ex-Christians is Pliable.
Pliable walked with Christian for a while. But Christian is a thinker who knows he himself needs guidance and grace, whereas Pliable is arrogant and witless.
Christian makes it home, but after Pliable fell into the Slough of Despond, he runs home a defeated man.
Christians faces the dangers ahead and makes it home safely. There are simply those who could not, did not bring forth fruit because they were not able to understand or grasp the meaning of life eternal.
They are deserters, not ex-Christians.
They will not call themselves Christian army deserters because they think they are ex-Christians.
But the Bible is clear that they have been sent strong delusion by God for not receiving the love of the truth, that they might be saved,
but they had pleasure in unrighteousness.
So God turned their minds to be reprobates
and to believe a lie and be damned.
But do all you can as I do to tell the world what they really are.

BROKEN COMPUTER WOES.....

Dear Dr Heartache,

This is the worst problem ever to befall me in my life.

My computer collapsed. It smelled like it was burning and poof! it was gone!
I cried for nine hours without stopping.

I'm devastated beyond belief.

I miss all my Internet friends who live in my computer.
May God bless each one.

Oh dear Dr Heartache, they must have wondered what happened to me.

Each night I thought of them, wondering if they were visiting my page and finding the same post.

I can only go to Myspace now since it is closer to where I live. Huh?

Anyway, if you see any of my Internet friends, tell them I am feverishly working on this computer that freezes constantly. And that I miss them dearly.

My computer laughs at me. I shook my finger at the mother board ordering it to behave, but all to no avail.

The videos at FOX news freeze up and I can never hear the rest of what Sean Hannity is saying about John McCain.

I go to YouTube and it is a loss.

It freezes when I try to watch a video; the one Barack Obama doesn't want me to see.
Google is the only one that takes me where I want to go.
Then I feel like I live in the Antarctica, eveything is frozen.
Shall I buy another computer?
or get another mother board? or hit this computer with a sledge hammer?
Ot try to forget all my dear friends who live in my computer/Internet?
Depressed in San Jose
Dear Depressed in San Jose,
Buy a new computer today!
Hope this helped.
